I was going to post this on Saturday, but I didn’t have any time to… Once again, the squirrels at the Pillow Feeder brought it down, double-strength wire or not! Video 1 is a shot of one of the squirrels tearing at the bottom of the bag to get the rest of the seeds, and Video 2 is the shot of the squirrel snapping the wire again - it’s interesting to note that before when they’d snap the wire, they’d jump off of the bag - now they’re so used to it, they just ride it down to the ground!

And down she goes again!

LOL thanks for being there to capture the moment again! Actually that was four loudspeaker leads simultaneously cut!
I’m wondering if this is the same squirrel doing the eating and the cutting, because it makes more sense to cut the bag down first, and not a lot to cut down an empty bag … unless this is their way of drawing my attention to the fact that the bag needs a refill?

Man! I knew they could destroy things, but not wires that thick!…
“Um, I think we need more seeds, here, maybe?”
I’m not sure why they’re doing it - maybe it’s something inside the bag that they want that you can’t see, and they can’t really look very well unless they snip the cord? Either that, or they’re trying to “return the tray” but they don’t take it all the way to the door?
