November 30, 2006 - Signs that the Rain is coming…

…I usually see about 3 or 4 squirrels resting in the trees like this when it’s about to get rainy… so it’s a good time to check the trees for possible shots! Video follows below, and due to advice from past shots like this, I composed a short-length light dreamy-like musical background piece in Soundtrack to compliment the video…

Very soothing. I wonder what would be good background music for my pillow feeder … the William Tell Overture perhaps? The ride of the Valkyrie?
By the way I found the source of my QT sound problems and was able to hear this one. I have a piece of software which intercepts the sound card so that I can record anything passing through it, and for some reason QT didn’t like that and needs to use the card drivers themselves. When I reset the sound to the defaults, QT ran fine.

Thanks! Something like that would work… I was thinking of the Rocky theme, personally… getting to the top of the stairs could be like getting to the top of the Pillow Feeder… and if you really want to stretch that theme, you could tie that in with Rocky the Flying Squirrel somehow… or maybe that’s all too cheezy…
That’s cool that you fixed the QT problem - I wouldn’t have thought of that, but I didn’t see why QuickTime wouldn’t work and the other ones would, either… Kudos though!
