Are you into nature? Do you enjoy sitting on the porch during a lazy summer day and watching the squirrels play around? Do you love to watch the birds come and go when they please to your bird feeder (or feeders)? Do you feed raccoons and watch with excitement as they work to get their food and use their dexterous “hands” to eat it? If that describes you, well, then I’ve got a DVD for you… only this DVD is no ordinary nature video!
Come and take a look through the “eyes” of my video-cameras and witness the daily lives of animals as you’ve never seen before! Immerse yourself in their daily lives, as squirrels play, fight and vocalize! Watch as bluejays collect nesting material for a Spring nest, skunks fight for dominance over a specially designed “Backyard Bag Feeder” of my own design, and raccoons nimbly reach into the very same feeder to get their treats! From amazingly candid closeups to action-packed wide-angle shots, it’s all here in high-quality DVD format from hours and hours of raw footage — all compiled into one 56-minute long backyard safari!

• Introduction (1 minute 5 seconds) - What exactly is the Backyard Bag Feeder Project?
• Squirrels (7 minutes 28 seconds) - The best and most determined Sciuridae face off against the Feeder Project… and each other!
• Birds (9 minutes 9 seconds) - Bluejays, grackles, starlings, sparrows, doves and more… ordinary birds? Well, you won’t think they’re so ordinary when you get a closer look at them!
• Raccoons! (8 minutes 14 seconds) - Raccoons, love them or hate them, have been a long, long, long sought-after animal for me to get on tape… in 2006, I finally got my chance! Digging through the Feeder Project mat, standing up, rubbing their paws in the grass as if it was a stream, it’s all here to view - and hear!! There are some amazing natural sounds in the raccoons section!
• Skunks (9 minutes 33 seconds) - Yet another animal that doesn’t usually get much respect… I only managed to tape a little skunk video, but watching how they deal with each other, the Feeder Project and different kinds of food is certainly something to witness!

• “Fun” With Motion Sensors - What happens when the motion-sensor light doesn’t turn on when it should…??
• From Start to Finish : May 10, 2006 - An entire day’s worth of squirrel insanity cut down to 10 minutes!
• The Joys of Youth (longer) - A longer look at the playfighting squirrel pair from the beginning of the Squirrels section - are they trying to mate? doing dominance rituals? or just playing…?
• Squirrel Boxing! (also known as “Squirrels With Something To Say“) - These squirrels apparently don’t know what do with each other! Watch what happens when one tries to take the other’s territory!
• Aerial Squirrliness - An innovation very late in the season led to a hanging camera looking straight down at the Feeder mat… Ever see a squirrel looking straight up at you? Well, here you will!
